The Junior League of Bristol helped to bring the very first Splash Pad to the Bristol area. That’s right! A SPLASH PAD in Bristol! This is a very exciting project and is sure to bring hours of fun to children (and adults!) from all over Bristol.

The Splash Pad officially opened on September 2, 2016.

Why Should you Donate?

In order to create a Splash Pad that is safe, interactive, and large enough for many children to play at once, we need to raise a sizable amount of money. While we’ve reached our initial goal of $100,000, we are continuing our fundraising efforts to support enhancements to the Splash Pad. Junior League members are working very hard to raise these funds, and every dollar helps.  Please consider donating and supporting this unique, fun, and safe play area for the Bristol community.

How Can I Donate?

There are various ways to donate.

What is a Splash Pad?

A splash pad is a recreation area filled with interactive water play, such as sprinklers, ground nozzles, and dumping water buckets.  It is a safe “zero-depth” water play area, which eliminates the need for lifeguards. The splash pad will be located at Steele Creek Park, since the infrastructure already exists for this type of project. Also, this park has over 120,000 visitors each year.  Bristol, TN Parks and Recreation will maintain the Splash Pad upon completion.
