The Bargain Box provides one of the major ongoing sources of income for funding the Junior League of Bristol's community projects. It has been in existence since it was established in March of 1951 by the Border Guild. It has operated in six locations in Bristol and even survived the great downtown flood of 1978. The Bargain Box recently moved from State Street to a new location in the Euclid Avenue Shopping Center.

Active Junior League members support the Bargain Box by donating clothing and household merchandise quotas twice a year. They also supplement the staff at the Bargain Box. The balance of the merchandise comes from members of the community who consign merchandise or make donations.

The Bargain Box accepts donations at any time. Consignments are accepted on the 1st-15th of each month. The store consigns men's, women's, and children's merchandise.
